I had too many second chances

 I was a bit excited to see my old world.

The goddess teleported me back to this world, after I finished my adventure in the other world.

But..

She forgot to remove a power. The power of rebirth. I knew it, after I passed away in my bed, holding the hands of my children, I found myself at Feb 27th, 2026. The day I returned to my world. Somewhere around 10:00 pm.

The first rebirth in this world, was a bit strange, but I figured life gave me a chance to relive my past.

I asked out my crush again, this time, with deja vu. The second run was more better than the previous, but still, not too perfect, and that's what made my life worth living.

Fast forward 70 years, and I was dying.. but my children looked different than my previous, with different personality. And I was dying richer. Well.. I thought I was going for good.

But just when I faded, I found myself at Feb 27th 2026.

And I was in despair. 

Third run was with another girl,

Fourth run, I committed hirakiri out of frustration,

10th run, 14th run 20th run.

I was despairing. Some runs, I made different friends, but my life was still predictable. The same market crash, the same wars.

So, I lost count of the runs.

I became the most powerful man in the world, and bought extinction to the human race,

I kept doing that, and splurging,

I enjoyed some days, I hated some days, but overall, I was bored. My intellect accumilated. Maybe I did 100 runs, maybe 110..

I became a corrupted villain,

I could predict every day.

I became cold and calculated.

I staged conflicts with me. I funded "heroes".

Then, one fine run, I was fed up. On Feb 27th 2026.

I decided, I wanted to die for good.

So, I rose to power within few months, and with the resources, funded the study of my consciousness going back to the past (of course, worded as "consciousness time travel")

Billions. I poured all the capital humanity offered to a parasite like me into the research. I created a monopoly before monopolies even thought of forming.

I wanted to die for good.

I accelerated economies, and it worked.

I had tried scanning my biology previous runs, but apparently, nothing worked, so I suspected quantum phenomena.

And then, one day, my humans made.. a quantum eraser. The one that takes gigawatts from the sun to erase electrons from an atom.

And I jumped into the active quantum eraser.

Back on Feb 27th, 2026, I spawned, but immediately, I melted.
